Each one will be campier than the last. I love it. But, I always love Rodriguez. More cult classic than the first, and I had more faith in that people would understand that, but perhaps not. True fans of the genre, of the director, of Grind House, will love it.

This movie was awful! When I see big names I expect big results. I think I just funded all of their ski vacations in Vail this year.

This movie resembles the first movie in almost every way with a new plot. This includes the grindhouse feel, graphic violence, little sex, and scantily clad women. There is a sequel which you find out before the movie begins and more of it is shown after the movie ends. There are funny moments based on what is said and done and the actors involved. There are Star Wars references which add to the humor. Many parts had me laughing. Don't see this movie if you , or someone you know, likes to nitpick every thing that can't really happen. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes the first movie.

If you saw the first movie, you know exactly what you're getting into. Machete Kills is shockingly graphic. The scale and scope of Machete Kills is much larger than the first movie. While fun, it doesn't feel quite as random and ridiculous as the first installment. The bigger budget brings some higher end special effects, but a lot of the original's appeal had to do with how comically chintzy everything looked. Machete Kills is filled to the brim with cameos. While definitely cool, the sheer number of their individual threads make this movie less cohesive than the first one. Machete had parts that had me dying with laughter. If you liked the first movie, this will be a go for sure. I'm really looking forward to "Machete Kills Again!" If you are Machete fan you should join the fun with the cast and the witty remarks. Of all cast Lady Gaga held our attention on the screen...way to go ...anyway, we had fun and were one of about ten people in the theatre....
